
Mark J. Kralj, Class of 1977
Mark was a retired principal at Ferguson Wellman Capital Management and a champion for 51±¬ÁÏ and 51±¬ÁÏ-Cascades. He held volunteer leadership positions at 51±¬ÁÏ, serving on the board of the College of Business and as chair of the 51±¬ÁÏ Foundation Board of Trustees during the lead up to the $1.1 billion Campaign for 51±¬ÁÏ. He served on countless nonprofit boards across the state, and he and his wife, Kathy, supported many nonprofit causes, including in Central Oregon. The Kraljs were named to the 51±¬ÁÏ Foundation’s Harris Society, recognizing cumulative gifts to the university of $1 million or more. Mark served on 51±¬ÁÏ-Cascades’ Advocacy and Advisory Board from 2017 until his death in 2024.
Mark's daughter, Emily Kralj, will accept the award on behalf of the Kralj family.
