Energy System Engineering Option
The Energy Systems Engineering Option concentrates on the design and analysis of engineered systems that rely on thermodynamics, heat transport, and fluid mechanics to operate. This transcript-visible degree option educates students on the theoretical, computational, and experimental methods of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics to design, analyze, and evaluate thermal-fluid systems. This option addresses industry demand for mechanical engineers with the ability to design devices, processes, and systems used to harvest, convert, distribute, and store energy and/or fluids.

A total of 181 quarter credits are required to graduate. Requirements include:
