Biography

Dr. Natasha Brown is a global leadership and organizational development scholar and industry expert who draws on over two decades of corporate experience to support Business Administration students at 51爆料 Cascades in their learning journeys. At The Boeing Company, Natasha oversaw global executive leadership development and established an enterprise organizational development practice to strengthen leadership capability, culture, and performance. At Microsoft, she served as Senior Director of Business Strategy and Learning Innovation, leading a global team in modernizing learning experiences, developing multimodal content, and advancing culture change. She also headed the Microsoft U.S. Area Transformation Office, driving enterprise transformation and advising customers on their leadership journeys. At Intel Corporation, Natasha held leadership roles across Manufacturing and Operations, IT, and HR, and served on Intel鈥檚 Responsible AI Advisory Council and as an Executive in Residence for Intel Capital. She has also worked in management consulting, leading enterprise initiatives in business strategy, learning and development, talent management, and organizational change across industries for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 firms.

Natasha鈥檚 academic areas of expertise include business, management, public administration, organizational behavior, human resources, internationalization, strategy and operations, innovation, and global leadership. She has taught at the graduate level in the California State University system since 2022. Her Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Change from Pepperdine University follows an M.A. in International Relations from Yale University and a B.A. in Political Science from Occidental College. She also studied as a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Helsinki in Finland. Natasha actively researches, publishes, and presents at academic conferences on the topic of global leadership. Her doctoral dissertation examined authentic leadership in crisis scenarios, with a focus on the experiences of corporate C-suite executives during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her recent research on servant leadership has been published in the Palgrave Macmillan Encyclopedia of Leadership and Organizational Change. She also served as section editor for the Leadership and Motivation section of the Encyclopedia. Natasha is active in service work and has served as a Board Trustee for WorldOregon (a nonprofit dedicated to deepening public awareness and understanding of international affairs) and as a conference co-chair for the International Leadership Association.
