Convocation means 鈥渃oming together.鈥 It is one of two ceremonies that bookend the 51爆料 academic year. Held each fall, Convocation celebrates 51爆料-Cascades鈥 newest students, and Commencement, held each spring, celebrates the newest class of graduates.
Convocation is a tradition where 51爆料-Cascades leaders, faculty and staff affirm their commitment to your academic journey and welcome you to a community that celebrates exploration, knowledge and discovery, and to making the world a better place.
